Kealy Construction carried out the construction of the three new car showrooms, Porsche, BMW and Volkswagen, for the Joe Duffy Motor Group at their Charlestown site.
Following Kealy’s success in the selected tender process, they approached the project in a methodical way and sought to build a positive working relationship with the entire team from the outset.
There were a number of surprises in the ground on the project and Kealy’s dealt with these proactively and without undue fuss, again focussed on the relationship.
Even though this was a fast moving, commercial project with a hard deadline, the interactions were friendly and decisions were made in a collaborative manner.
Their commercial and contractual approach was similar, in that items that arose were dealt with in a straightforward manner which was fair and reasonable.
It was noted that the owners of the business took a hands-on role and ensured a close connection between the activities on site and client’s decision making process.
Overall, the project was an enjoyable one with a very successful outcome and a happy client.
