  • Job description – Project Manager

With a strong pipeline of work, our company has undergone strategic growth over the last number of years.  Kealy Construction are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take a leading role within a growing company that will encourage development and progression within the role.

The Role
Coordinating with the Construction Director / Sub contractors / Client & Design Team
Delivery of capital projects on budget and to schedule.
Overseeing & organising the various project work streams to ensure a successful project delivery.
Participating in preparation of necessary documents for inclusion on tender submissions, including site visits
Planning and programming of work
Completion and Handover of projects

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Management, 3 of which must be in a Project Management or Senior Project Engineering role.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent knowledge of the Construction Industry, building techniques, policies and regulations.
Must speak fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland

JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE MANAGER

 

Kealy Construction require a Site Manager for the Greater Dublin Area.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for management of the construction site, including sub-contractors
  • Oversee the running of site with regards to health & safety, programme and quality.
  • Delivery of project on time and to the highest specification.
  • Liaising with a range of professionals i.e. Designers, Engineers, Architects etc
  • Scheduling weekly work programmes & attending weekly meetings
  • Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the site team
  • Ensuring all records / management activities adhere to Institutional policies & legal requirement
  • Health & Safety compliance
  • ISO Compliance
  • Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines
  • Communicate well at all levels

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Construction qualification is desirable but not essential
  • 10 years’ experience is in Building Industry
  • Strong knowledge of BCAR & building regulations
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and capability to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
